(a) All contracts between a health insurance organization or issuer and provider or intermediary in effect shall comply with this chapter not later than eighteen (18) months after the effective date of this chapter. The Commissioner may grant an extension of six (6) months, if the health insurance organization or issuer demonstrates good cause therefor.\n(b) Any contract entered into or put in force on the effective date of this chapter shall comply with the provisions of this chapter.\nHistory —Aug. 29, 2011, No. 194, added as § 26.140 on Aug. 23, 2012, No. 203, § 6, eff. 90 days after Aug. 23, 2012.
