(a) All requests for external review shall be made to the Commissioner or in accordance with the review process adopted by the health insurance organization or issuer in compliance with the applicable federal law. The Commissioner may provide the form and content of external review requests.\n(b) A covered person or enrollee may make a request for an external review of an adverse determination or final adverse determination, in accordance with § 9505 of this title.\nHistory —Aug. 29, 2011, No. 194, added as § 28.060 on Aug. 23, 2012, No. 203, § 7, eff. 90 days after Aug. 23, 2012.
