Any person who in giving or presenting information to the Planning Board, misrepresents the facts, or who in filing documents or plans with the Board states facts or dimensions which are not certain and true, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than twenty-five dollars ($25) or by imprisonment in jail for not more than five (5) days, or by both penalties in the discretion of the court hearing the case.If the person guilty of such offense is a member of a college, or a member of an institution organized under the provisions of law, his conduct shall be reported by the trial court to the college or organization in question for the proper purposes.
