(a) The Public Structures and Highways Naming Commission of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture is hereby directed to designate the stretch of road of Highway PR 1 from km. 26.2—from Caguas to Río Piedras—to km. 48.3—the intersection of the municipalities of Caguas, Cidra and Cayey, with the name of Miguel Hernández Rodríguez.(b) The Public Structures and Highways Naming Commission of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture shall take the necessary measures to ensure that the provisions of this section are complied with.
