(a) Puente Salcedo, located on Commonwealth Highway No. 2 between the Barrios Añasco Arriba and Sabanetas of the Municipalities of Añasco and Mayagüez, respectively, is hereby declared a historical monument.(b) Planning Board, the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, the Department of Transportation and Public Works, and the Municipalities of Añasco and Mayagüez, shall coordinate a suitable activity to observe such an official designation.(c) Department of Transportation and Public Works is hereby directed to preserve and maintain Puente Salcedo for present and future generations.
