(a) The building which houses the Theodore Roosevelt Community School located in the Municipality of Mayagüez is hereby declared to be a historic monument.(b) The Planning Board, in coordination with and the advice of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture and the Commonwealth Office of Historic Preservation, shall take the steps needed to faithfully comply with the provisions of this section and shall include the Theodore Roosevelt Community School located in the Municipality of Mayagüez in its list of Historic Sites and Places, pursuant to the provisions of the laws in effect and Regulation No. 5 of Historic Sites and Places.(c) The Department of Education, with the advice of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, shall install a commemorative plaque allusive to said designation not later than six (6) months after the approval of this act.
