(a) The stretch of Road PR-506 that connects PR-14 up to the Empresas Vassallo in Coto Laurel Ward of the Municipality of Ponce is hereby designated as Doctor Humberto Zayas-Chardón.(b) The Secretary of the Department of Transportation and Public Works shall place a sign on the stretch described in subsection (a) of this section in accordance with the provisions of this section. The Secretary is hereby exempt from complying with the provisions of §§ 178 et seq. of this title, known as the 'Public Structures and Highways Naming Commission Act', for purposes of the designation directed in this subsection.
