Any natural or juridical person using these distinctives, without due authorization of the Center, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction, punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) or more than five hundred dollars ($500) for the first violation, and for subsequent violations, by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) or more than one thousand dollars ($1,000). Should any natural or juridical person insist in the use of such distinctives, without being authorized, the Director of the Center shall notify the Secretary of Justice, who shall proceed with the adequate legal measures to stop the unlawful use of the distinctives.
