The office of Deputy Administrator for the Promotion of Puerto Rican Industries, in the Economic Development Administration of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, is hereby created. The Deputy Administrator for the Promotion of Puerto Rican Industries shall be appointed by the Governor, by recommendation of the Economic Development Administrator, who shall determine his compensation, subject to the Governor’s approval.
