Private sector members of the Governing Board shall be entitled to receive a per diem equal to the minimum per diem established for the members of the Legislature of Puerto Rico for each meeting they attend or for each day in which they are fulfilling tasks relative to the function entrusted to them by virtue of this chapter. Governing Board members who once were officials of the Government of Puerto Rico shall not receive any compensation for their services. The Commission shall establish in its bylaws any mechanisms as necessary for the payment of per diems and the reimbursement of expenses to the private sector, as certified by the Secretary thereof.
