Any violation of the provisions of this chapter or of the provisions contained in the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, or of the orders and resolutions issued by the Director, shall constitute a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or by imprisonment not to exceed six (6) months, or by both penalties at the discretion of the court.\nHistory —June 27, 1968, No. 148, p. 438, § 15, eff.
