During periods of shortage or reduction in the supply or availability of gasoline or of special fuels, and pursuant to any other applicable local or federal law in effect, or that may subsequently be approved, all petroleum producers or refiners, or wholesaler-distributors of petroleum products, who supply gasoline and/or special fuels to retailers or service stations for the retail sale of these products, will prorate all the gasoline and special fuel he distributes, proportionally, uniformly and on an equitable basis among all the gasoline and/or special fuel retailers whom he supplies, and will not discriminate among them.\nHistory —Mar. 21, 1978, No. 3, p. 15, § 6.
