Puerto Rico Legal Code
The following offenses and penalties are hereby established:\n(a) Any natural or juridical person who incurs or conspires to incur a violation of the provisions of §§ 1102, 1104, 1104a, 1105, 1105a, 1106, 1107 and 1108 of this title, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished with a fine of not less than five thousand dollars ($5,000) nor of more than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). Every day that transpires after the date therein indicated without having complied with the provisions of the sections indicated, shall constitute an independent and separate violation.\n(b) Any natural or juridical person who incurs or conspires to incur a violation of the provisions of § 1102a of this title, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished with a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor of more than five thousand dollars ($5,000) or with a term of imprisonment of not less than three (3) months nor of more than six (6) months, or with both penalties at the discretion of the court.\nHistory —Mar. 21, 1978, No. 3, p. 15, § 9; July 26, 2003, No. 169, § 2; Aug. 25, 2005, No. 74, § 5.
