The Administrator and the Director may delegate and assign to officers and employees of the Authority the powers and functions conferred hereby to each and to the Authority, respectively, except when this chapter expressly provides otherwise. In the case of the Port of the Americas, notwithstanding which sections of this chapter expressly provide otherwise, the Board of Directors of the Port of the Americas Authority may delegate and assign the faculties conferred thereto by this chapter to other government entities of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or to officers and employees of the Port of the Americas Authority or of other government entities of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the Board of Directors of the Port of the Americas Authority may delegate to the contracted entity the powers described in §§ 2201, 2202, 2501, 2505, and 2602 of this title.\nHistory —June 28, 1968, No. 151, p. 459, § 1, art. 1.07; Aug. 11, 2002, No. 171, § 21.
