The Authority shall detain every ship or vessel which must pay and which has not paid the annual license fee referred to in § 2511 of this title, until payment has been made. Any sum due for such reason shall constitute a lien on the ship or minor vessel in the form provided in § 2305 of this title, but action on this lien shall expire after the lapse of one (1) year from and after the detention of the vessel.\nHistory —June 28, 1968, No. 151, p. 459, § 5, art. 5.12, eff. 90 days after June 28, 1968.
