The right of an enterprise, concessionaire/franchises or operator to render tourist ground transportation services, or to sell or service taximeters, may be suspended by the Tourism Company through notification to that effect for a temporary period that shall not exceed sixty (60) days, in cases of imminent [danger] that constitute a threat to the environment, health or public safety. After having issued the order or resolution in accordance with this section, the Tourism Company shall promptly complete any procedure that would have been required if there weren’t an imminent danger, pursuant to §§ 2101 et seq. of Title 3, known as the 'Uniform Administrative Procedures Act'.\nHistory —Dec. 19, 2002, No. 282, § 35, eff. 180 days after Dec. 19, 2002.
