Likewise, none of the provisions of this chapter shall relieve the vacation home developer from complying with bonds or insurance for an amount not greater than ten percent (10%) of the sales price of a residential unit to guarantee the expenditures related to repairs and correction of construction defects, as established in § 508 of Title 17.None of the provisions of this chapter shall be construed as a restriction, limitation, or waiver of the right that, pursuant to the Civil Code of Puerto Rico or any other law, is granted in case of claims covered by this chapter.
