The Company is hereby empowered to establish fines not greater than five thousand dollars ($5,000) and to revoke or suspend the certification of any company engaged in nautical tourism activities that fail to comply with its regulation. None of the above prevents the Company from imposing the penalty it may deem pertinent if it should find any violation of this chapter or regulation thereunder.The DNER is hereby empowered to use its resources to enforce this chapter, including, but not limited to, imposing fines or penalties pursuant to its authorities as conferred under §§ 151 et seq. of Title 3, better known as the 'Department of Natural and Environmental Resources of Puerto Rico Organic Act'.
