Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter or the regulation created for its implementation, in addition to being imposed any administrative fine, may be prosecuted for a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of one thousand dollars ($1,000), or forty (40) hours of community service, or both punishments, at the discretion of the court. Community service shall be carried out under the supervision of the Secretary of Health and the administrative offenses and procedures shall be subject to the provisions of the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, §§ 2101 et seq. of Title 3.
