The Municipality of Salinas shall have the responsibility of carrying out the works for the removal of [the] Nigua Bridge in order to expedite the channeling of [the] Nigua River. Said removal shall be conducted in accordance with standards equal or similar to the federal standards for mitigation projects, especially those of the Historic American Engineering Record (HAER).Upon completion of the channeling, the Municipality shall also have the responsibility of relocating the bridge. The costs of documenting, removing and relocating the bridge shall be defrayed by the Municipality of Salinas, pursuant to what the Interagency Committee for the Protection and Development of the Arroyo Railroad may establish.
