None of the provisions of this chapter shall be interpreted or used to justify the dismissal of personnel in any agency, department, and instrumentalities of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, municipality, and public corporation producing or updating geospatial information, directly or indirectly, as part of the planning or permit-granting processes, administration or operations thereof.\nLikewise, the provisions of the Organic Act and the regulations thereunder of any agency, department, and instrumentality of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, municipality, and public corporation that has a mapping division shall govern the process of hiring and retaining personnel and the provisions of this chapter regarding said issue shall not apply to the same.\nHistory —Nov. 10, 2014, No. 184, § 9.01.
