The said additional irrigation district as it begins to function on a trial basis shall be incorporated, and when permanently formed, shall continue incorporated with the irrigation district which was formed and operates under the provisions of the Public Irrigation Law, approved September 18, 1908, and of later laws amendatory thereof, §§ 251—259 of this title, becoming then extensive and applicable to the lands included in the additional irrigation districts all parts of said laws which are applicable to and are not inconsistent with the provisions of §§ 265—270 of this title.
