The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico may exercise this right of redemption within the term of three (3) months from and after the registration of the sale or exchange if the Legislature should be in session. If not in session, within the term of three (3) months from and after the day when the session of the Legislature subsequent to the date of the registration of the sale or exchange begins.
