Owing to the nature of the work to be performed hereafter, by the employees engaged in the construction, operation or maintenance of the Isabela Irrigation System, and in order not to render the work on the said irrigation system ineffective or unduly difficult and expensive, it is hereby provided that 'An act to establish the duration of the official working day', approved March 10, 1904, shall be held not to apply to work performed by the employees engaged on the work of the said irrigation system.
