Any natural or juridical person[,] whether seller, distributor, purchaser or any other natural or juridical person who in any way allows, helps or contributes to the breach of this chapter, shall commit a felony and, if convicted, shall be penalized with a fine not to exceed five hundred (500) dollars or the penalty of restitution, or both penalties, at the discretion of the court. The AAA may opt to impose an administrative fine in lieu of the filing of a criminal complaint, in which case the fine shall not exceed five thousand (5,000) dollars for each violation.\nHistory —Sept. 27, 2003, No. 279, § 3.
