For purposes of this chapter, the following terms and phrases shall have the meaning stated below:(1) Agency.— Means any board, body, examining board, public corporation, commission, independent office, division, administration, bureau, advocate’s office, department, authority, officer, person, entity, or any other instrumentality of the Executive Branch of the Government of Puerto Rico. This definition also includes public utility authorities, the Electric Power Authority, and the Aqueduct and Sewer Authority.(2) Committee.— Means the Advisory Committee for the Development of the Puerto Rico Standard Contracting Act.(3) Members.— Means the members of the Advisory Committee for the Development of the Puerto Rico Standard Contracting Act created herein.(4) Standard general conditions.— Means the currently adopted General Specifications for the Contracting of Public Works, in accordance to Act No. 198 of May 15, 1943, as amended.
