The Board may establish reciprocity relations with the corresponding body of any of the states of the United States and the District of Columbia to allow the practice of the profession through the issuing of the license without an examination to those speech-language pathologists, audiologists, or speech-language therapists who are certified or licensed by a state of the United States and the District of Columbia. The requirements fixed must be similar or equivalent to those required in Puerto Rico and the same opportunities shall be offered in said state to the persons licensed by the Board in Puerto Rico. Furthermore, the person must pay the fees established in § 3120 of this title and must meet the other requirements of this chapter.\nHistory —June 3, 1983, No. 77, p. 160, § 19.
