The Board may refuse to issue a license, after giving notice to the interested party, and allowing him to be heard by holding a hearing, when said party:\n(a) Does not meet the licensing requirements established by this chapter.\n(b) Has practiced the profession of psychologist in Puerto Rico illegally.\n(c) Has been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor that implies moral depravation.\n(d) Has attempted to obtain a license as psychologist or doctor in psychology by means of fraud or deceit.\n(e) Has been declared mentally incompetent by a court of competent jurisdiction.\n(f) Is addicted to drugs, or is an alcoholic; Provided, That the license may be granted as soon as said person proves that he is capable, if all the other requirements established by this chapter are met.\nHistory —June 4, 1983, No. 96, p. 246, § 18, eff. 90 days after June 4, 1983.
