The Board shall meet within thirty (30) days following the date its members were appointed and took office. The Board shall hold at least three (3) regular meetings a year for the consideration and resolution of its official business, but it may meet as many times as it is necessary for the prompt transaction of its business and duties. In its first meeting, the members of the Board shall elect a chairman from among themselves, who shall hold office for the term and under the conditions established by this chapter, and the regulations the Board establishes to such effect. The chairman shall convoke the meetings to be had, which shall be notified by the Director of the Examining Boards of the Department of Health.\nThree (3) members of the Board shall constitute quorum for said meetings.
