(a) The members of the Board shall meet the following requirements:\n(1) Be citizens of the United States and bona fide residents of Puerto Rico at the time of their appointment;\n(2) be of good conduct;\n(3) have the necessary educational background or experience of over ten (10) years;\n(4) have practiced the profession for a minimum term of five (5) years, and\n(5) [passed] the certification examination of their profession.\n(b) No member of the Board shall be prohibited from practicing his/her profession merely for being a member of the Board.\nHistory —Aug. 8, 1998, No. 205, § 4.
