The Board shall be authorized to establish, through the conditions and requirements it may deem necessary, direct reciprocity regarding the granting of licenses without an examination, with states or territories of the United States of America or with any foreign country whose requirements are similar to those established in this chapter, in order to obtain a temporary license to practice the profession of nuclear medicine technologist. Said temporary license shall be effective for one year and renewable for only one additional year. Should the technologist wish to continue practicing the profession of nuclear medicine technology in Puerto Rico, he/she must obtain the regular license according to the provisions of this chapter.\nHistory —Aug. 8, 1998, No. 205, § 14.
