The members of the Board shall be entitled to per diems equal to the minimum per diem established in § 29 of Title 2, for the members of the Legislature, for attending sessions or committee meetings, per session, special meeting or meeting of any committee or other body or for carrying out any task authorized by the Chairperson of the Board to which they belong, except those that hold office as heads of agencies of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and its instrumentalities, except for the Chairperson of the Board who shall receive a per diem equal to one hundred and thirty-three percent (133%) of the per diem the other members of the Board receive. They shall be entitled to payment for travel expenses for miles traveled while in the performance of their duties, as provided in the Regulations of the Department of the Treasury of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
