Upon the approval of this act, members in office of the Board of Pharmacy shall continue to hold office until the expiration date of their respective appointments or until their successors are appointed and take office. The Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate of Puerto Rico, shall appoint two (2) additional members to raise the total number of members to seven (7), and they shall hold office for a term of four (4) years, as provided in this chapter.
