Every person who, without being duly admitted and licensed to practice the profession as provided by this chapter, or who, during the suspension of his license, practices as a person qualified to do so, advertises himself as such or tries to pass himself off as a practicing pharmacist shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) or by imprisonment for not less that two (2) months, or by both penalties.
