All optometrists or certified optometrists shall submit to the Board a completed application for the registration and recertification of their license every three (3) years, with evidence of having completed the minimum of twelve (12) credit hours in continuing education each year. Provided, That optometrists certified in the use of cycloplegic agents and topical anesthesia for refractive purposes, must complete a minimum of six (6) credit hours devoted to the administration of cycloplegic agents for refractive purposes, as part of the thirty-six (36) credit hours of the triennium required by law.
