The Board, with the collaboration of the Colegio de Optómetras de Puerto Rico., Inc., shall be bound to prepare, draft, and publish a code of ethics for the practice of optometry within one hundred and twenty (120) days from the date of effectiveness of this act. To do so, it shall follow the procedures established in §§ 2101 et seq. of Title 3, known as the 'Uniform Administrative Procedures Act of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico'. Said code of ethics shall become effective once it is ratified by the secret vote of not less than two thirds (2 / 3) of the members of the College of Puerto Rico.
