For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings stated below:(a) College. — The College of Optometrists of Puerto Rico created by this chapter.(b) Optometrist. — The person authorized to practice the profession of optometry in Puerto Rico, pursuant to the provisions of Act No. 80 of June 26, 1964.(c) Board of Directors. — The Board of Directors of the College of Optometrists of Puerto Rico, created by this chapter.(d) Board of Examiners. — The Board of Examiners of Optometrists, created by Section 2 of Act No. 80 of June 26, 1964.(e) Bylaws. — The bylaws, rules and statutes of the College of Optometrists of Puerto Rico, adopted pursuant to this chapter.
