The College of Optometrists of Puerto Rico is created as a non-profit entity and shall be the representative body of the profession of optometry and of all licensed optometrists authorized to practice the profession in Puerto Rico, and it shall be exempt from the payment of all types of taxes, municipal licenses, excise taxes and any other type of levy in this jurisdiction.
