Any optometrist who practices the profession of optometry or anything pertaining to its practice without being duly associated [with] the College of Optometrists, or who after having been a member has temporarily or permanently lost his/her status as a member, shall be guilty of the illegal practice of optometry, as legislated in Section 11 of Act No. 80 of June 26, 1964.
