The Opticians Association of Puerto Rico is hereby created as a nonprofit entity and shall be the representative organism of the optics profession and of all licensed opticians authorized to practice the profession in Puerto Rico, and as such, shall be exempt from the payment of any taxes, municipal license fees, excise taxes and any other type of taxation within this jurisdiction.
