The Examining Board of Embalmers of Puerto Rico is hereby created, composed of five (5) members, four (4) of whom shall be appointed by the Governor of Puerto Rico, with the advice and consent of the Senate of Puerto Rico; the fifth member shall be the Secretary of Health of Puerto Rico, or a medical officer of the Department of Health on whom the Secretary of Health may have delegated such functions. The Secretary of Health or his delegate shall be the Chairperson of the Board. One (1) of the four (4) members to be appointed by the Governor shall be a physician who is a member of the Institute of Forensic Medicine of Puerto Rico, and three (3) shall be embalmers licensed to practice as such in Puerto Rico, under legislation or regulations in force on the date of approval of this act, and shall have no less than five (5) years of experience.\nHistory —Mar. 9, 1967, No. 6, p. 152, § 1; July 11, 1988, No. 73, p. 324.
