Any person to whom the Board has not granted a license to practice in Puerto Rico and who pretends, advertises or in any other way tries [to] be known as an occupational therapist or as an assistant in occupational therapy, or who uses words, letters, phrases, abbreviations or insignias indicating or implying that he/she is an occupational therapist or an assistant in occupational therapy, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished in accordance with § 1043 of this title.\nHistory —June 26, 1968, No. 137, p. 325, § 12, renumbered as § 11 and amended on June 24, 1971, No. 89, p. 304, § 1; Dec. 20, 1991, No. 113, § 10.
