Every chauffeur eligible pursuant to the provisions of § 1062(a) of this title may become a member of the College of Chauffeurs after paying his quota and complying with the norms and bylaws established.\nAny member of the College who fails to pay his quota, but who in all other respects qualifies as a member, shall be suspended as such, provided [it] is proved that the nonpayment of quota is due to [imprudence] or that otherwise he does not wish to comply with the requirements of the bylaws established by the College.\nHistory —June 27, 1969, No. 102, p. 282, § 10, eff.
