The Chair shall have the following functions, among others, within the Board:(a) To chair and establish the order of the agenda at Board meetings.(b) To appoint Committees and their members.(c) To coordinate Board activities.(d) To supervise the operations of the Board.(e) To act as a liaison among the Board, the Secretary of Health and the Governor.(f) To supervise the Executive Director.(g) To speak on behalf of the Board.(h) To sign official documents.(i) To establish budget priorities together with all other Board members.(j) To bear the non-delegable responsibility of signing licenses for physicians.
