The Board shall grant a provisional license to all physicians who legally practice medicine in another state or jurisdiction, contingent upon the request by such physicians to the Board and on condition that they are coming to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico by invitation extended by the Puerto Rico Olympic Committee or by any other authorized sports organization. This special license shall be granted for the duration of the event which causes the issue thereof and said license shall be subject to the following conditions:(1) The physician may render medical services at the facilities where the sports activities are conducted and only to athletes and accompanying team staff who are registered to compete or train by invitation of sports organizations.(2) The Olympic Committee or the hosting sports organization shall certify to the Board, the state or jurisdiction where the physician is authorized to practice medicine and the dates that he/she is to be rendering services in Puerto Rico.(3) The Board shall be empowered to regulate all matters relative to granting this provisional license.
