(1) Dental technologist. — Any person who prepares dental prosthesis work on inert matter by written prescription of an authorized dentist, to be delivered to the dentist requesting it.\n(2) Dental laboratory. — Place where the dental technologist works.\n(3) Board. — Puerto Rico Dental Technologists Examining Board.\n(4) License. — Every document duly issued by the Board in which it is certified that the person in whose behalf it is issued is a dental technologist duly certified to practice the profession, according to the provisions of this chapter.\n(5) Secretary. — Secretary of the Department of Health of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.\n(6) Recertification. — Procedure provided in §§ 3001 et seq. of Title 24 for health professionals.\nHistory —June 24, 1971, No. 97, p. 326, § 1; Dec. 3, 1990, No. 19, p. 1483, § 1.
