The Puerto Rico Dental Technicians Association shall have the following duties and obligations:(1) To negotiate and implement a continuing education program.(2) To establish its own laboratory where the members can learn and perfect modern practices in the field of dental technology.(3) To promote and stimulate its members to use the most advanced procedures and measures in the field of dental technology, and to ensure the faithful compliance of the regulations on continuing education.(4) To contribute to the advancement and development of dental techniques.(5) To elevate and maintain the dignity of the profession and its members.(6) To establish professional relations with similar associations in other countries within specific rules of solidarity and courtesy.(7) To cooperate with the medical profession and with professions related to health in all that could be of mutual interest and beneficial to the general welfare.(8) To promote fraternal relationship among its members.(9) To furnish reports required by the Government.(10) To carry out all the steps needed so that all the members of the Association shall be registered in the Health Professional’s Register.
