The Board shall issue a license to exercise the occupation of automotive technician to any person who meets the following requirements:(a) To have attained sixteen (16) years of age.(b) To hold an intermediate school diploma.(c) To have passed a general automobile mechanics course of at least six months or six hundred (600) hours in a vocational school or in a school recognized by the General Council on Education, or in lieu thereof, to have completed the training course prescribed by it.(d) To have passed the mechanic’s examination authorized by the Board.(e) To have paid the examination and license fees established in §§ 2131—2144 of this title. The Board may issue licenses, by specialties, in the field of automotive mechanics as provided through regulations to such effects.
