(a) Any person who incurs [sic] a violation of any provisions of this subchapter shall incur [sic] a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100), or by imprisonment for a term of not less than one month [nor] more than six (6) months, or by both penalties, [at] the discretion of the court.\n(b) In the event any person repeats the offense described in subsection (a) of this section, the fine imposed shall not be less than two hundred dollars ($200), nor more than five hundred dollars ($500), or a term of imprisonment that shall not be less than two (2) months, nor more than six (6) months, or both penalties, [at] the discretion of the court.\nHistory —June 8, 1973, No. 125, p. 501, § 13, renumbered as § 14 by § 15 and amended by § 14 on Dec. 21, 1995, No. 243; renumbered as § 15 on Aug. 12, 1998, No. 231, § 11.
