The Board shall be composed of five (5) members who shall be appointed by the Governor of Puerto Rico by and with the advice and consent of the Senate. All of the members shall be appointed for a term of four (4) years. The members shall hold office as such until their successors are appointed and take office. Any vacancy occurring prior to the expiration of a term shall be filled for the remainder thereof.\nNo person who has not obtained the licensed issued by the aforesaid Board for the practice of electronic technique may be a member of the Board.\nAs a transitory measure, each member shall receive a license from the Secretary of State, which shall authorize him or her to practice as an electronic technician.\nHistory —June 30, 1975, No. 99, p. 295, § 4; Aug. 11, 2000, No. 152, § 4.
